As the summer approaches I am seriously considering a severe revamp to the site... Which means the forums and photo gallery may go away. Well at least the Photo Gallery anyway. I may just end up using a service such as Flickr or Picasa but still playing around with all the idea. I have had this layout since the sites inception and it is getting stale. Some ideas that I am throwing around are converting this site for a space to promote a starter computer repair business, which could include getting vendor certified so that I can "officially" repair as many vendor types as I can (that can take a lot of work though, so might not do the certification thing). Then there is just the idea that I want the site to be easier for my to udates (the whole stale thing is really bugging me) so I'm not sure what the easiest thing there would be. Probably some sort of blogging software that would allow me to make posts/changes pretty fast and easily to the site.

Just a heads up if anyone is actually using the site (besides the spammers who are continually trying to spam the site).

Hey Everyone. There has been some more work done on the house lately. So far whats been done already is that a new basement floor was poured with a french drain around the edges, new blocks were laid for the outside entrance to the basement (as the old walls were cracked and leaking water), and the side and back yard have been regraded to allow for better drainage of runoff. Still yet to come... consrtucting a roofed entrance for the basement (instead of bilco doors) and LOTS and LOTS of plumming. The water pump actually died on us here wabout a week ago when a plumber came and brought it back to life until he could come back with a new pump and bladder. The PVC pipes are more or less all getting replaced, so hopefully the efficiency of the hot water heater will improve as well. Also a new auto-sensing sump pump, I believe, is getting installed in the new sump pump hole.

Lots of work done and lots of work yet to be done. Many thanks to Wendie and Fred for making all of this possible!
